"It's nine o'clock on a Saturday..." Ivy said, expectantly.
"It's Friday," Aaron said.
"Besides which," Lars said, checking his watch, "it's ten-fifteen."
"Oh my God, you're a couple of philistines."
Aaron shrugged, and had a sip of beer. "If you can't ask like a normal person, I'm not going to sing for you."
She rolled her eyes. "Fine. Play us a song! You're the piano man."
"Play us a song tonight," Aaron sang, contemplatively.
"For we're all in the mood for a melody!" Lars bellowed, marred only slightly by a hiccup.
Aaron grinned. "And you've got us feeling all drunk."
