Her silence is as helpless as his voice.
He doesn't know where to go, how to handle this. "She's not his." Is that true? Can it be true? If it is... how can he even start?
The one true and precious thing he had, and Yvonne destroyed it with four words. He knew she wasn't faithful; didn't care, because he had Olivia. Didn't care, because Olivia was all that mattered.
"Is she still?" Joanna asks, and he realizes he's said all that to her. "All that matters?"
