Title: Sunset
Rating: PG.
Summary: Arelie and Farid.
Date: Spring 1980
Notes: The same day as the picnic in Gravity and In the Creases.
Arelie rested her head on Farid's chest, the last rays of the sun warming her skin, his heart beating under her ear.
Some days were flawless, and she'd just lived through one, was still breathing in the dandelion- and peanut butter-scented air of perfection. A lazy morning in bed, a picnic in the park, now cuddling, the sun setting in the west in splendid grandeur, so in love her heart felt tight.
"We'll always be like this," Farid murmured, stroking her back. "We'll never be apart."
"No," she agreed, and watched the sun as it sank below the horizon.
