Leah never doubted that she was gay.
That was weird, apparently, even among her friends in the community. But Leah had always known she liked girls, and she had always been comfortable with the idea. Everyone else in her immediate family did, after all, so why should she be any different?
Then, when she was fourteen, she met Viola.
Leah didn't remember the details of her appearance, only the effect: weak knees, a swirling feeling in the pit of her stomach, chills down her neck, dry mouth, the complete inability to get words out.
Oh yeah. Leah was definitely gay.
