"Could've been better," Aaron said.
"We sucked," said Russell.
"Oh, come on, we weren't that bad."
"Dude, I saw one guy covering his ears!"
"That guy," Penny interposed, "was an asshole. We were good."
"He had his fucking fingers in his ears! In his actual earholes!"
"External auditory canals," Jay murmured.
"Like I said," Penny said. "Asshole."
"Jay or the ear-guy?"
"Shut up," said Jay.
"I'm glad we all think that," Lars said, beaming.
Penny sighed into the following confused silence. "Lars," she said, "listen to people other than me."
