It's not about love. It's not.
It's stupid. He's twenty years her senior and cynical as fuck, a drunk and a time-waster who's done nothing with his life. Hot, sure, so this was just sex.
So why does she feel like kissing him-- just kissing him, at the top of a ferris wheel while fireworks explode? There's fucking in the backseat of a car, and then there's this, and she's so far over the line she can't see it at all.
It's not about love, or it wasn't supposed to be, but Lauren thinks she's broken that rule for good.
