The White House
Jun. 20th, 2019 10:53 pmTitle: The White House
Rating: G
Summary: Planning for Eid is always a headache.
Warnings: none.
Notes: Sometimes families suck.
Planning for Eid is always a headache, and it's Joanna's turn this year. Find a hotel that will please her siblings, near a mosque that will please her mother, near enough to home that it will please her father, near enough to see everyone but far enough that she needn't see them all the time. All this when she'd rather be at home, to celebrate in her own way, instead of forcing smiles and looking down whenever anyone asks about children.
But what is there to do? It's family.
She thinks she'll pick The White House. It's worked well before.
