Title: No Mercy
Rating: PG
Summary: Ivy is a brat, and Aaron loves her lots.
Warnings: none.
Notes: Nope, that's it.
Aaron had been a pretty solitary kid before he got his sister.
Oh, he'd had friends, of course, kids he hung around with on the playground and in school. But he'd never had anything like his sister, this imperious little five-year-old with an excellent grasp of tactics for her age.
Which was why he was currently getting snow put down his back.
"Uncle," he gasped, and Ivy climbed off his back, giggling. "You win. I lose. What next?"
"Next," she said, "you have to catch me!"
Aaron had been a solitary kid. He'd never gotten into trouble, never gotten snow put down his back, and never, ever had to catch up to a surprisingly fast preschooler through a foot of snow.
Of course, he'd never had this much fun, either.
He tackled Ivy into a snowbank, rubbed snow in her hair while she squealed, and knew he'd never go back.
