Title: The Word for World is Ocean
Rating: G
Summary: Will is an oceanographer for a reason.
Warnings: none.
Notes:
The world is the ocean.
Will would say something silly like "or at least my world is," except he knows it's literally true as it is. The world is the ocean. Sure, there's bits of it that are currently above sea level, and bits that are below sea level but not underwater, places pushing up above the ocean water and places sinking down into it. But the world is the ocean.
"We came from it," he tells people when they ask, "and we're going to go back to it when we die, and we know so little about it. So much life is down there and we only know about a third of it-- did you know that mermaids could exist, for all we know for sure?" And there's so much still unexplored, ninety-five percent of the ocean, so much down there to find.
He's an oceanographer for a reason.
