Title: Clean
Rating: G.
Summary: Summer's earliest memory.
Date: 2001
Notes: Description exercise, mostly.
There's a memory, if she reaches back very far in her mind. It's small, and foggy, but it is a memory.
She is standing on a bridge, someone's hand warm and rough around hers. It's night; the support wires and the towers bright with light, the water below glimmering. She lifts her head a little to feel a breeze, a cool caress against her face, opens her mouth to taste the air, and startles into laughter when the wind kicks up and a drop of water lands right on her nose.
It smells like the air after a storm. Clean.
