Title: Break
Rating: G
Summary: Olivia in transit.
Notes: For once, something happy for my poor Livvy.
Olivia got off the bus in Topeka and caught a train to Chicago, then another to Albany; nine hours on the plains and another sixteen through the Northeast's mountains and misty valleys.
She's drowsing while the landscape rolls by. It's a strange feeling—she's unaccustomed to relaxation—but so, so welcome. She feels hypnotized.
It's only a break. She knows that. Soon they'll be in Albany, and she'll take another train and another bus to Smith. Soon she'll have to get going, to reach for the sky—it feels so much nearer now.
But not yet.
She has a break.
