Title: Not Working Out
Rating: PG-13.
Summary: It isn't working out.
Warnings: none.
Notes: Surprisingly Summer's most serious ex is also named Andrew. No relation to Dalton.
Summer's a sweet kid, Andrew thinks, but that's all she really is, a kid, and he can't believe it took him this long to realize it. It must have been her school; he never expected to find someone so childlike working pathology. And there's nothing childlike about her body.
But she's so naïve, so strange. She's pleased to be with him but just as pleased to be reading a book. She sleeps peacefully, doesn't kick, but she's so distant when she's awake.
He takes a deep breath, dials her number, inhales again at her voice. "Summer, we need to talk."
