He's never liked knives, being a fundamentally neat person, but there's much to be said for experimentation. Besides, there's something in the weight of it, something in the sleek flash of silver beneath bright beads of blood.
He's seen blood likened to rubies before. He doesn't think so. It's more a pinky-red, though it darkens rapidly when there's enough.
There's a lot of it here. None on him, because he planned ahead, but still, a lot. Quite messy, throat-cutting. But easy, and strangely empowering. Good for someone like this, who deserves it.
Some people just shouldn't be allowed to breathe.
