He smiles at Mama and 'Resa but it is Yvonne whose hair he strokes. "Sapphires for you, princess," he tells her. "For your hair, to match your eyes. You'll be a real princess then, my darling, a title to match your spirit. I'll give you a dowry fit for a king, and you'll never want for anything again."
"You'll spoil the child, Arthur," Mama says, but Papa only laughs.
