She's not impulsive, as a rule. She doesn't rush into things. But not this time.
When she looked up and met deep blue eyes, when she took his hand and felt a jolt, when he stroked her back and cast a spark, she never thought she'd be in his bed by morning. But she was. When he leaned in, smiled back, and introduced himself, she never guessed she'd end up pregnant. But she did.
He gave her Ivy. She can't hate him for that. But he made her someone else, someone she didn't like.
For that, she thinks, she can.
