WHAT THE ACTUAL HELL not only are we AU twins our CHARACTERS are AU twins. O_O James does exactly the same thing with Mort.
(Er, yes, it might be oh-dark-thirty in the morning here and I kind of can't sleep, so I'm reading your Aaron/Clara back catalogue as recommended. And it makes perfect sense for our characters to be AU twins if we are... I guess. ;P From the sort of perspective where they're not autonomous people, anyway, which is not the perspective where my head usually lives. Granted that - for instance - Mort and I are in the middle of an argument about whether I'm going to admit in canon that he's quoting-at-length familiar with the works of Louisa May Alcott, it's not usually a productive perspective to bother with. *g*)
