Two older sisters at home, one of them Mom's favorite, one of them Dad's. Always compared unfavorably to classmates in school. Ignored and insulted at work. Never nice enough, never pretty enough, never smart enough.
Her whole life she's had to make do with scraps of affection. Even her ex had that weird creepy girl following him around, and he wouldn't make her go away, not even when Madison asked nicely.
