Ivy blinked, lowered her weapon, and watched her furious brother climb out of the snowbank he'd landed in. "What?" she asked. "What did I do?"
"You know damn well what you did!" Aaron brushed snow off his face, hat, and shoulders, then crossed his arms and glared.
She glanced down at the weapon she held. "What, this? Come on, this is..."
"It's cheating."
She raised her eyebrows. "No, it's a glorified slingshot."
"It's a damn crossbow," Aaron said, "and it's cheating."
Ivy rolled her eyes, disgusted. "You're such a sore loser."
