Notes: Danny was prone to one-night stands for a while. Here's one.
The guy was still there, in the morning.
Damn. She should've kicked him out.
Danny got up, scrubbed her hands through her hair, contemplated a shower. Coffee instead, she decided, because she needed to think.
He was awake when she came back in. "Hey, baby," he said. "Care for round two?" He patted the bed.
"No," she said, abruptly. "There's coffee. You can use the shower, but make it quick. I have to go soon."
He sat up then, looked at her funny. "Danny?"
"I'm sorry," she said, and she really was.
But not too sorry.
Who needed guys, anyway.
