If she was honest with herself, Gina always knew how it would end. Which was to say publically, and bitterly. A screaming fight on the quad, things being thrown in the cafeteria. Something that would have all eyes on India.

It had always been about India, right from the start. India wanted to make out in the library. India wanted to play footsie in class. India wanted... India wanted. India wanted a prop, a plaything; anyone could've been that, but Gina wouldn't be, not anymore.

Still, it hurt, when it ended.

If only because she should have seen it coming.
