The school doesn't have her listed. The bus company says she didn't go where she said she did. She has left nothing behind. So it must be true.
Olivia took her clothes and her books, packed and left-- for college, Yvonne had thought, though she cannot quite remember now. The point is that she left. The little bitch left, with no way for Yvonne to find her.
Yvonne is alone now. She cannot even hurt them.
She wants to scream, to cry, to hit something, but there is no sound, no air, no one in reach.
She is all alone.
