Title: Denial
Rating: PG.
Summary: Aaron breaks up with his first girlfriend.
Date: Spring 2004
Notes: This is the same Lorelai who turned up in Glimpse of Heaven.
It's funny, in a sad kind of way, that Lorelai doesn't understand Aaron when he says he's breaking up with her. Instead, she laughs.
"You're funny," she says. "You should take me to that new place in the West Village. We can go tonight."
Do relationships always end like this? Wondering what you ever saw in the other person? "I'm not taking you anywhere," he says, "because we're done."
"No, we're not," she says, sounding irritated. "We're going out."
That's just like her. And anything he says will only make this more childish. "Goodbye, Lorelai," he says, and hangs up.
