Title: Romance
Rating: PG
Summary: Gina likes traditional romantic gestures.
Warnings: none.
Notes: My writing moods seem to run 'tooth-rottingly fluffy' these days. You've been warned.
Gina likes traditional romantic gestures, flowers and chocolate and cards. Ivy is a little more... idiosyncratic.
Like the time she found a heart-shaped nebula in the sky, and showed it to Gina with the excitement of a child. The time she dragged Gina out of bed at way-too-fucking-early-o'clock to see the sunrise splashed bright across the sky. She texted Gina pictures of baby animals, left silly messages, painted Gina's nails with brow-furrowing concentration. A few times Gina's woken up to find Ivy just watching her, face full of love and faint surprise and joy.
Maybe traditional romantic gestures are overrated.
