Title: Magic
Rating: PG
Summary: Spring.
Warnings: sexism.
Notes: Brush your teeth before and after reading.
It's spring and the park is lovely, but Ivy is lovelier, all flyaway hair and exuberance. Like a child, Gina thinks, in love with everything, except Ivy at forty is not at all a child.
And isn't Gina grateful for that.
Ivy goes spinning over the grass and Gina runs after. She feels young again, younger with every brush of Ivy's fingers over her wrist, a teenager tackling her high school sweetheart and kissing her up against a tree, soft and hungry and needy.
Ivy's eyes smile up at her, and Gina thinks that she has never been so happy.
