They're supposed to be doing their homework. They're not, of course-- Florry got a copy of Seventeen, and that's much more fun-- but they have their books out, just in case.
"AJ is so hot," Florry sighs, tracing a heart around his face.
Gina studies the picture critically. "He's okay," she allows, after a minute.
Florry snorts. "Okay, who do you think's the hottest?"
"Mariah Carey." Which is the truth.
To her surprise, Florry laughs. "I meant hottest Backstreet Boy, dummy. Anyway, you shouldn't say that. People will think you're gay."
"Whatever," Gina says, uneasily. "I gotta do my homework."
