Eleven for the times we fall and rise;
Ten for the joy which from our lives we prise;
Nine for the battles we have fought and won;
Eight days a week I love you less than none;
Seven wonders I see inside your eyes;
Six kinds of love I hear inside your sighs;
Five for the hours we lay beneath the sun;
Four squared the reasons that I love you both;
Three for our bodies, hearts, and minds aglow;
Two for the two of you, my own heart's song;
One is what we are. You have my oath
and roses fair to tell you what you know:
I'll love you both forever, sure and strong.
