She isn't, of course. She's perfectly sane-- the only sane person she knows, really. It's not her fault everyone around her betrays her, time and again. It's not her fault she finally got sick of it, and tried to teach that damned man a lesson.
Narcissistic personality disorder, they're saying.
That's stupid. All she wanted was to protect herself, look out for her own interests since no one else will. If no one cares about her, why should she care about anyone?
They've locked her up, but she'll get out.
