Title: Discipline
Rating: PG
Summary: Warmind men do not cry.
Date: November 2004
Notes: Henrik is Lars's father.
Warmind men do not cry. Henrik got distinctly sniffly at the births of each of his children, but that's as far as it goes, and he'll never admit it anyway. Crying just isn't something he does.
His children cry, of course, and he doesn't think any less of them for it. They're his children, and (although he'll never admit it) in his eyes they can do no wrong. Thea cried, of course, but he would never tell her what to do (except to live, he told her to live and she didn't listen).
He cries at her funeral, without shame.
